Street Fiddlers group was formed in 2003 by initiative musicians - Alexander and Ekaterina Cheremisovs. The first concert has passed in one of Novosibirsk clubs and its date - 24th of May - is the birthday of the group. Having declared itself as the folk-group playing Irish and Scottish folk music, the group has started concert activity in Novosibirsk and in Siberian region.
Step by step, a concert after concert, the group got new admirers and found new friends. There were many of hot admirers of Celtic culture and everyone of them shared the impressions and knowledge on this theme with musicians with great pleasure. It is necessary to note Academgorodok of Novosibirsk where the concentration of experts in the given area was especially high. The concerts in Academgorodok all passed with a special mood and a special warm feeling.
In 2003-2006 group Street Fiddlers were: Ekaterina Cheremisova (fiddle), Galina Belyaeva (block-flute, bagpipe, vocals), Timofey Pastukhov (guitars, vocals), Victor Latskevich (keyboards), Feodor Kabelsky (fiddle), Andrey Makarychev (bass), Alexander Cheremisov (drums, bodhran, the leader).
The mixture of musical styles and hot Celtic themes had allowed musicians to express their own sight at a modern folk-music. The musical material was offered in a wide range - from traditional music up to the folk-punk. Experiments in the given direction have led to the new conception and to the new staff. In 2006-2007 in group has played - Anton Nuykin (electric guitar), Alexey Petrov (bass), Mikhail Averin (electric guitar), Alexey Boychenko (vocals, acoustic guitar), Timofey Pastukhov (electric guitar, vocals), Pavel Yukechev (electropiano), Olga Mikhaylova (vocals, fiddle), Alexey Khristolyubov (bass).
Today it is possible to characterize Street Fiddlers as the modern folk-rock group.

The group conducts active musical and public work in propagation and spreading of Celtic culture. Concerts are giving in Novosibirsk clubs, in Philarmonic Society, and also across all Siberian region: Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo, and Omsk.

February 2004 - participation in a Youth Musical Portal (Novosibirsk State Philarmonic Society)
September 2004 - a joint concert with German group Fiddler's Green (Rock-City Club)
May 2005 - Street Fiddlers has organized the first Irish Music and Dance Festival in Novosibirsk in the City Central Park. Participants: Street Fiddlers, historical dance studio "Medieval", an ethnic trio 7th Sky, dance studio "Drive", dance studio "Courage ", the Youth National Orchestra, De Builders group.
February 2006 – concert in the Siberian Convent of role-playing games (Tomsk)
March 2006 - organization of the show "The Day Before St. Patrick’s Day" (the Novosibirsk State Philarmonic Society)
June 2006 - group organizes Anima Celtica – 2nd Celtic Music and Dances Festival (Chamber Hall of a State Philarmonic Society, City Central Park). Participants: Chamber Orchestra of the Novosibirsk State Philarmonic Society, Street Fiddlers group, ensemble of traditional music "Men in Kilts", a trio " 7th Sky", ensemble of early music "Insula Magica", choral ensemble "Markellovs’ Voices ", a quartet of violoncellos "VivaCello", "BisQuintet", historical dance studio "Medieval", Natalia Girunyan (harp), Pavel Yukechev (keyboards), the Novosibirsk Scottish Clan "Balmor".
16th of March, 2007 - organization of a concert "Celtic Treasures” with the International department of the Novosibirsk State Philarmonic Society. Participants: Street Fiddlers, the Chamber Orchestra of Novosibirsk Philarmonic Society, Men in Kilts, Clan Balmor, dance studio “Ethnodance”, dance studio “Celtica”, School of Irish dance “Eirinn”, Baronn-Anneix duet (France)
11th of October 2007 - the Youth Musical Portal (Novosibirsk State Philarmonic Society)
12th of December, 2007 - group Street Fiddlers acted on "warm-up" before the world famous folk-group “Gwendal” (France). It was the first visit of “Gwendal” to Russia. The concert took place in the Big Hall of a Philarmonic Society at active teamwork of the International department of the Philarmonic Society and Street Fiddlers.
8th of January, 2008 - a solo concert "Christmas in Dublin" (Big Hall of the Philarmonic Society)
16th of March, 2008 - "The Day Before St. Patrick’s Day" show
June, 8-13, 2008 – “Anima Celtica 2008” (3rd Celtic Music and Dances Festival). The festival was organized together with the Novosibirsk State Philarmonic Society.
1st of November, 2008 - "Samhain – Celtic New Year". The dramatized musical show was organized together with the Novosibirsk Philarmonic Society with participation of historical dance studio "Medieval", Irish dance ensemble of studio "Way of Dance" and Historical Fencing Club "Cruachan"
9th of January, 2009 - a solo concert "Christmas in Dublin" (Chamber Hall of the Philarmonic Society)
16th of March, 2009 - traditional philarmonic concert "The Day Before St. Patrick’s Day" with the group "Rover Band".
The group is planning scale projects and solo concerts.
